Jeff Wayne – Thunder Child (War of The Worlds 2012)
Below are two downloads for “Thunder Child” from Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds – The New Generation (2012). The first is my detailed transcription of the drum parts that Gordy Marshall recorded in the studio. The second is a rough guide chart, this strips out a lot of detail and leaves room for the drummer’s own interpretation of the music. This is perhaps more like the kind of drum chart that Gordy might have been presented for the recording session (though I’m just guessing).
